Gwénaële Le Doussal decided in 2009 to share the art of theatrical improvisation by organizing an intensive one-week course in central Brittany.

In Gouarec.
 

Like a retreat, a green setting so that French-speaking improvisers can come to both learn and recharge their batteries. 
Gwénaële, helped by Awena, work from year to year so that this project grows in the right conditions until it becomes a French reference.

Successful bet.

 

Having become a real institution, the Gouarek courses have continued their transformation, passing to 4 weeks, bringing in international guests, big names in improvisation. But always with the desire to keep it simple and down to earth.

And this is the strength that Gwenaelle gave to these courses: this famous “Gouarek Spirit”. A desire to listen, to want to make the locals work, to discover the region, to take care of the trainees individually. Privilege what will always be invincible: human relations.

In 2021, after having spent 12 years taking care of this project, Gwénaële leaves the hand to the association "GouareK - Stage Impro" whose main desire is to continue to keep the project alive, but always keeping the Gouarek spirit.
